Description: A set of five magnetic flux indicators, type G, is available. These adaptable indicators are used during the magnetic particle testing process to determine appropriate levels of magnetic field intensity and directional orientation. Each indicator features three machined slots with widths of .0075", .009", and .010". The indicators are made of permeable magnetic steels sandwiched between two brass plates, designed for repeated use in establishing and verifying the strength of the magnetic field in both wet and dry MPI applications. They meet the requirements of Annex A3 of ASTM E 1444-11.
