Description: Resolution Reference Block for Steel, per AWS/ANSI. The AWS Resolution Reference Block, also known as an RC block, is used to test the resolution capabilities of angle beam transducers. Contains three sets of through-holes with a.0625" diameter for 45°, 60°, and 70° angles. ln compliance with the Structural Welding Code ANSI/AWS D1.1 and the AWS Welding Highway and Railway Bridges standard D2.0. The AWS Resolution block does not have a specific independent metric version, according to AWS. Only the metric counterparts to the standard design are displayed in the metric block in AWS.
