ALUMINUM TEST BLOCK (FOR SENSITIVITY)

The Aluminium Test Block is an aluminium test piece with dimensions of 3 inches by 2 inches by 3/8 inches with a notch cut into it to allow for side-by-side penetrant comparison. The strength of "in-use" penetrants is evaluated using the test block. To accomplish this, one half of the block is processed with "used" penetrant, and the other with "fresh" penetrant. sensitivity of new and old penetrants, or sensitivity of different penetrants, can be compared. Block of Aluminium Test (for Sensitivity) The sensitivity of various penetrants or the sensitivity of new and old penetrants is compared by a cracked aluminium block.
