Due to their total portability and lack of electrical requirements, permanent magnet yokes are a tremendous convenience in magnetic particle inspection. 50 pounds of lifting capacity at 100mm from the pole (23 Kg). Specially designed pole pieces make it simple to remove them from the component. The PMY Yoke is a portable permanent magnet yoke that is perfect for magnetising parts for fracture detection. It has hinged arms that enable it to magnetise a wide range of profiles.
