Terms of Service

1. General

These terms govern purchases, quote requests and use of dakstools.com, operated by DAKS Tools (Alpha Sonix NDT Solutions Pvt Ltd), Chennai. Placing an order or submitting a quote request means you accept these terms.

2. Products & quotations

• Catalogue prices are in INR, exclusive of GST unless stated. Custom blocks are priced per quotation.
• Quote responses state a validity period (default 15 days); prices are honoured only within validity.
• Calibration certificates, dimensional reports and material traceability ship with every reference standard.

3. Orders & payment

• An order is confirmed after our email confirmation. We may cancel and refund if a product is unavailable or mispriced.
• Accepted payment modes are shown at checkout. GST invoices are issued for every taxable sale.
• Bulk/custom orders may require an advance before manufacturing begins.

4. Delivery

Standard dispatch in 5–7 working days within India (custom blocks per agreed schedule). Free shipping on orders of ₹5,000 and above; ₹200 otherwise. Risk passes on delivery; inspect goods within 7 days and report transit damage immediately with photos.

5. Returns & warranty

• Manufacturing defects: replacement or rework within 30 days of delivery.
• Custom-made blocks and used/calibrated items are non-returnable unless defective.
• Calibration validity depends on handling; dropped or corroded blocks need paid recalibration.

6. Accounts & acceptable use

Keep your login credentials confidential. You must not misuse the site, attempt unauthorised access, upload malicious files, or submit false enquiry details. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

7. Liability & jurisdiction

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the value of the affected order. These terms are governed by the laws of India, with jurisdiction at Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
